Music Practitioner
Rockschool has developed a number of course-based qualifications in partnership with Access to Music, the country's largest provider of popular music education.

The suite of qualifications has been designed to provide vocationally relevant courses in popular music aimed at beginner through to semi-professional. With an emphasis on practical, positive music making, the courses allow for both direct progression into the industry and/or progression to a higher level of study.

The courses are unit based, thereby offering maximum flexibility. Qualifications are offered as Awards, Certificates or Diplomas and can be taken at Levels 1, 2 and 3.

A number of pathways are offered at each level including:

Performing Musician
Vocal Artist
Creative Music Producer
Urban / Dance Musician
Music Entrepreneur
Audio Producer

Courses can be taken at centres all around the country. Prospective learners should visit Access to Music's website for more detailed information on centres and syllabuses.

Schools, colleges and other centres can also apply to run the courses themselves. Prospective centres should click here for more detailed information.
