Performance Diploma

The Rockschool Performance Diplomas provide recognised professional qualifications for popular music instrumentalists that will aid progression in their careers.

As competition for employment grows within an increasingly popular industry, musicians need to be able to prove to themselves and prospective employers that they have the skills needed for a performance-based career. These include session work; the ability to perform consistently to a high standard; the necessity to recognise the importance of publicity and self promotion and to understand issues surrounding contracts; legal obligations; and health & safety in the work place. These diplomas are also aimed at professionals already in the field that have, until now, not had the opportunity to gain a professional qualification.

Rockschool's Performance Diplomas are offered at Level 4 and Level 6. The table below explains how these levels are equivalent to undergraduate study and shows their respective QCF credit values. Click on a specific qualification below to view more information.
