Candidates can enrol on the Teaching Diploma at any time.
The Teaching Diploma is made up of Unit 1 and Unit 2.
- Unit 1 is the submission of a portfolio and must be submitted by one of the closing dates.
- Unit 2 is a practical exam and will take place within the next exam period after Unit 1 has been submitted.
For example; Unit 1 is submitted by the closing date for period A, then the Unit 2 practical exam will be within the exam duration of period A.
Fees
Performance Diplomas
Performance Diploma fees must be paid prior to enrolment on the diploma.

Teaching Diplomas
Candidates can enrol on the Teaching Diploma at any time.
Teaching Diploma fees must be paid at the same time that the candidate enrols on the Diploma.
At the time of entry candidates must pay either the fee for Unit 1 OR the total fee.
If the candidate only pays for Unit 1, then Unit 2 must be paid in full by the closing date.
There is a discount available to members of the Musicians' Union detailed below.
