This area is designed to help you get the most from your Rockschool exam. The Resources section is divided into a number of areas:

Audio Remixes
Rockschool has added spoken count-ins to all the full mixes of the pieces and these will become available when the grade books are reprinted from January 2008 onwards.

Companion Guides
There are new Companion Guides available for guitar, bass and drums. Each of these contains six examples of the types of unseen tests encountered by candidates in Rockschool grade exams. An order form for the Guides can be downloaded here.

Errata
A list of all the known errata in the guitar, bass and drum syllabuses can be viewed here. All of these have been rectified in subsequent reprints of the grade books in 2007.

Search & Reflect
Rockschool is proud to be the new publisher of Search & Reflect. This is a classic text by John Stevens and others and originally published in 1985. The book is a must for all teachers of improvisation and ensemble playing, both in and out of the classroom. Further information can be found here.

Special Needs
Rockschool operates a full special needs policy and welcomes all candidates with special needs. In most cases we will be able to assist candidates with particular conditions ranging from dyslexia to blindness. Please contact the Rockschool office on exams@rockschool.co.uk to see what assistance may be on offer. Rockschool also has links with national special needs interest groups and charities, such as the RNIB.
